Put Money In Bank

Well, that’s fantastic. A really smart decision, young man. We can put that check in a money market mutual fund. Then we’ll reinvest the earnings into foreign currency accounts which compounds interest and it’s gone!

By Vincent from www.englishvincent.
I don’t know what get into you.
If you ask what has got into someone, you mean that they are behaving very differently from the way they usually behave. (INFORMAL)
例句:What has got into you today? Why are you behaving like this?
例句:What has got into you today? Why are you behaving like this?
所以get into, 或者has got into的意思是“中邪”、“受刺激了”“被山魈迷了心窍”。 当然,我认为在特定语境下,what has got into you? 当然我们中国人喜欢摸摸对方的额头看看对方是不是脑子烧坏了(to feel someone’s forehead to see if he or she is feverish).
What the fuck is wrong with you? 或者What’s the matter with you?
会有8个人冲上讲台试图回答问题;
其中有5个根本不知道问题的答案,但是不知羞耻地站在那里;
有一个回答对了(he should be ashamed of himself);
有一个尝试掀起了老师的裙子(这位小孩没有失去理智);
作为80后,我对于90后和00后一点都不judgemental(抱有成见,先入为主的认为对方是愚蠢和错误的)。
She seemed to be possessed by the devil.
John Lennon was shot by an obsessed fan outside his apartment in December 1980.
John Lennon’s Killer Now Obsessed With Lindsay Lohan
歌迷摧毁偶像的心理动机可能是觉得偶像”out of this world” (extremely good).
John Lennon
George Harrison
Bob Marley
Jimi Hendrix
Jim Morrison
Kurt Cobain
Aaliyah
Tupac Shakur
Notorious B.I.G.
John Denver
Michael Jackson
Marvin Gaye
Lisa Left Eye Lopes
Elvis Presley
Ritchie Valens
Buddy Holly
George Harrison

Jimi Hendrix
Jim Morrison
Kurt Cobain
Aaliyah
Tupac Shakur
Notorious B.I.G.
John Denver
Michael Jackson
Marvin Gaye
Lisa Left Eye Lopes
Elvis Presley
Ritchie Valens
Buddy Holly
