翻译辩误之－抛砖和拍砖

19楼上有人把自己翻译的一段话发上来抛砖引玉。对方确实抛了一块砖，但是我也不敢说我就抛过去一块玉，这样说会被人耻笑，所以也只能拍一块砖过去。
以下是抛砖哥的原文：
采取纠正和预防措施是否按规定程序进行。
whether it has been executed according to the required management on the procession of the product packing and delivering
生产现场的安全设施，工序布局等是否有安全隐患，是否满足有关规定要求。
whether the measures of correction and prevention has been done according to the prescribed procedures
生产设备是否存在安全隐患
whether there are some safe risks on the safety facilities in the production site,or whether the working procedure layout is reasonable,and whether all things has been done complied to the regulation

安全隐患可以翻译成potential hazards, safe risks是不对的
还有，哪个是has been implemented in compliance with, 或者in conformity with, 这里你要么用这些介词+名词的组合，要么用following这种形式，不能用complied这样的被动形式。
还有碰上这种句子：
“生产现场的安全设施，工序布局等是否有安全隐患，是否满足有关规定要求。”
不如翻译成to be sure/ensure that there are no potential hazards…
因为whether开头的这样的句子在英文中让人觉得表意不清，这些都是规定，是一些指令性的东西。用whether the。。。这样的举行会有些中式。
还有对于介词的使用太随意，比如
safe risks for production equipments， risk 虽然有和for搭配，risk for +xxx,但是意思是有xx的危险，而不是xxx有此类risk，比如a risk for lung cancer,有可能得肺癌，而不是肺癌会有风险；而且这里还是要把safe risks改成potential hazards 就对了。因为hazards for后面加的是发生和存在危险的东西。我认为我们在讲英语时，一些介词是可以乱用并不影响理解，但是当我们翻译此类文章，还是要特别注意借此的使用，比如hazard to和hazard of的意思一个是对。。。的危害，一个是做。。。的危害。
然后这句on the procession of the product packing and delivering里把procession和process弄混了。其实就说during packing and delivery就可以了。而且这里的procession 也不和on搭配而且并不是所有的东西+ing形式就理所当然变成了其恰当的名词形式，这里还是用delivery。你去看看英文采购合同。
之前说了你的整个句式用whether这样可能是不妥的，现在发现你所翻译的中文也有语法错误：
“采取纠正和预防措施是否按规定程序进行”，最多读2遍你就知道这是个并举了。正确的中文应该是把 “采取” 去掉的，或者干脆写成 “确保纠正和预防措施按规定程序进行”
还有这里你翻译的measures of correction and prevention我觉得也不妥，要么直接抛弃 measures of，要么翻译成corrective and preventive measures可能会更好。
还有存在时态，单复数不统一的情况，句子结构也比较乱，冗长。比如这一句：“生产现场的安全设施，工序布局等是否有安全隐患，是否满足有关规定要求。翻译成
“whether there are some safe risks on the safety facilities in the production site, or whether the working procedure layout is reasonable,and whether all things has been done complied to the regulation。
其实可以简单地翻译成
To eliminate as prescribed the hidden hazards to the protection & safety equipments and the process layout at the production facility.
工序布局这样一个专业名词被你翻译成working procedure layout的时候，你必须告诉自己去验证其正确性。当你将他们输入google但是没有发现任何支持你的翻译的词条出现，你必须继续验证。其实你说plant layout, process layout, workflow layout这些用法都比用这个并不存在的“working procedure layout”要更好。因为procedure根本就不生产上的“工序”，只有process表示生产上的“工艺流程”。
我的建议是多做英译中，多看原本的相关资料，多google多查字典。总之需要不断验证验证验证验证。
